First, we finally moved to our new office. Yes, the place is nice and swanky bak kata my boss. But I really miss the old place. Everybody feels the same thing tho. One thing, we had to park very far from the office. Each morning, I had to walk 10 minutes just to get to the office. But I just think positive je, at least I get to exercise everyday without having to go to the gym.
Now that we have settled down in the new office (it's been two weeks already), things are getting smoother albeit a few problems here and there. My colleague complains that we should stick to Time dot com as our internet service provider. Our internet connection at the new office always ter disconnect. Maybe its Streamyx or maybe because we use wifi... Owh, by the way all of us yang pindah to the new office got a laptop each yay!! Management kata we should be a paperless company. Boleh ke??
I got a surprise birthday cake and present from my colleagues. Had a laptop bag as a gift. Thank you so much guys!! I didn't see that coming. The cake was lovely and the laptop bag was useful, tak yah la angkut bag HP yg berat tu lagi hehehe. Before that, I celebrated my birthday with a few of my friends. They belanja me makan at Uncle Chilli's OU and dapat la hadiah sikit. Seronok walau pun dah tua ni... BTW, I got a pair of Converse shoes from busyuk, suka sangat. Dia tau what I want. Thank you sayang.... Nanti will post the pictures of the presents that I got. Lupe plak, my family pun bagi prezzies gak, but sedih coz didn't get to celebrate with them as they had to go to Kedah for my aunt's wedding and I had to stay back due to work : (
Hmmm... last Thursday I had my PC (I didn't had a PC for quite sometime already) for Prelude Kemuncak AIM15. Boy I really am happy coz so many press attended the event. All the seats yang we reserved for press/media at Planet Hollywood where we had the PC were filled.
Even though the event started a bit late, everything went well. Thank you Min for being my emcee for the day. And Tini, you were a natural. Performances by Dayang, Beyonce of Malaysia memang best. She sang two songs and get the crowd moving. Lastly we had Meet Uncle Hussain peforming during tea. Actually dorang ni suppose to perform as the opening act tapi disebabkan oleh satu insiden (which I don't want to mention here), they had to perform later. Kesian gak kat dorang nih. But all in all, I am really satisfied with the event last Thursday, even though penat sikit..
Before that, pagi tu we received a sad news. Mazlan's father had passed away due to old age and internal ulcer (I think) so lepas PC Prelude kitorang trus gi ke rumah Mazlan untuk jenguk dia. I have not seen him since he left the company. Mazlan, u dah kurus sket la : ) Anyway, takziah on the demise of your father.
Now nih am preparing for my next PC which will happened this coming Wednesday. Semalam dah gi recce, ok la tempat nya. Ni tengah dok pikir camne nak buat bagi best PC ni.
Ah, can't wait for Prelude to start. Berdebar-debar nih. Hope ramai yang datang tengok show kat Planet Hollywood nanti. Beginning 3rd Jan 2008, every Thursday I will be berkampung kat Planet la for Prelude. Seronok!! Ratings harap-harap naik la nanti.
Tak sabar nye for new year. Tapi resolution last year pun lum abis lagi tercapai. Camne??
